Item Description
27x41" one-sheet for original release of the 1933 Majestic Pictures horror film starring Lionel Atwill, Fay Wray and Melvyn Douglas. Poster features great bat silhouette behind title w/image of Atwill and Wray in laboratory w/menacing men looming over them at left. Top left corner has large Dutch censor inkstamp which transferred slightly to bottom left corner as folded. Bottom right corner has smaller Dutch inspection inkstamp. Four additional inkstamps on back from Dutch film museum. Poster is folded as issued and shows moderate wear w/pin holes at corners and along margins. .25" to .75" splits at fold crease intersections w/small hole at bottom fold crease intersection and some 1" edge margin splits along fold line. Scattered handling wear, but poster retains bold color and still remains nice for display. Good/VG overall. Scarce.
