Item Description
"New" box w/full color label (w/art by William George) contains Mattel playset, marketed as "The Biggest Masters Of The Universe Set Ever!" Playset features three themed towers (Central Tower, Grayskull Tower and Viper Tower) w/three different battery-operated vehicles (Battle Tram, Sky Cage and Jet Pack Fighter) that run around the entire playset on monorail system. Grayskull Tower features elevator to reach various levels and prison base. Playset also comes w/a multitude of accessories/weapons including a weapons rack, ladder, grappling hooks, laser guns and ramps that could be used to connect Eternia to both Castle Grayskull and Snake Mountain. Upon its release in 1986, Eternia was sold at an extremely high price for a toy at the time, which led to few being sold. This large and impressive playset is often referred to as the "holy grail" of Masters Of The Universe collecting as it can be very hard to piece together a complete version let alone find a complete example such as the AFA-graded one offered here.
