Item Description
5.5" long. Dated March 29-30, 1940. During this tour, Dewey made a 900-mile trip through the state as he worked to win over Wisconsin's 24 delegates. Ultimately, Dewey failed to win the 1940 nomination despite a strong start on the first ballot. However, he did succeed in winning the 1944 and 1948 Republican nominations.
