Item Description
The tin litho toy w/built-in key has an assembled size of 4x4x12" tall to the top of the counterweight sign. Comes in box w/nicely illustrated lid. By Yoneya, Japan c. 1958. Toy consists of base w/simulated craters and the swing unit attaches to this. This includes a 3.5" tall robot figure and counterweight sign has same image on each side of "Baby" robot w/hands in the air. Toy works and robot swings as it opens and closes its mouth. The center of the platform base has a 3" minor hairline scratch caused when we assembled the toy for our photograph, however, obviously not visible when toy is assembled. Toy has just some minute scattered paint nicks as produced as well as red factory paint touchup to edges of his feet. Both box and toy are essentially N. Mint and as issued. Great design.
