SCOPE stood for "Summer Community Organization & Political Education" the 1965-66 summer project across six southern states building community organizations led by African Americans to register voters. Larger button has tiny cello separation along the collet at 12 o'clock that is stable and does not affect display. Otherwise only light surface wear on each. Both still Exc.
