Item Description
This smiling, jaunty, hands on hips confident Mickey seems particularly proud of the success of his 1933 sheet music fox-trot novelty song, words by Edward Pola and music by Franz Vienna. The primary performers were Jack Hyton and his Orchestra sung by Pat O'Malley. Reverse 7/8" vertical pin and clasp and maker's stamp "W. Miller No. Branston St. B'ham" (for Birmingham, England). We know of three of these and we know the front had thin silver flashing but in all cases this has evaporated with time. Slight silvering remains on the reverse. The front has deep golden brass tone plus glossy enamel with almost zero wear. Exc. and Rare.
