Item Description
Lot of 7. First are three 7" tall witches. c. 1930s. Body of each is made of thick pipe cleaner-type wire and dressed with crepe paper clothing standing on a cardboard base. Faces are painted on each paper mache head. Bottom of bases are marked "Japan." Exc. Original box bottom. Fine. Second is group of four 5" tall cats. c. 1950s. Four colors. Each cat has egg-shaped body, wire tail, spring-mounted head. Tails and heads easily jiggle back and forth. Feet are designed to allow cat to stand upright or sit on hind legs. Bottom of feet are marked "Germany." Very nicely designed. Clean and unused. NM.
