Item numbers 1 though 954 in auction 191
Item Description
From the 1940s listed in Hake's Character Toys as rare and less than ten known. In addition to its rarity, this example is the best we've seen. It grades N. Mint with mere traces of wear under magnification but o/w displays Mint with glossy, probably nickel-plated, silver luster. The solid band is like an arm with a boxing glove on each end that bears the signature "Joe Louis" and flanks the realistic, finely-detailed, high relief portrait of him. Rarely offered and most probably the best condition example known.
