Item Description
The all-silver finish variety of this high quality store-bought ring is in the Hake Character Toy Guide as JLO-14. This bi-metal variety is unlisted. The ring is very heavy and large (Size 11) with non-adjustable band. The brilliant silver luster base has overlapping boxing gloves on each side. The lustrous brass oval plate on top shows well detailed image of Louis in trunks, gloved hands ready to strike and with his facsimile signature upper right "Joe Louis." We've seen one other in bi-metal and just 2 or 3 all silver. Rare and Mint.
