Item Description
2-1/8". No maker. From same series as lot #615. He played for the Dodgers 1948-54. Cox was the third baseman of a Dodgers infield that included Gil Hodges, Jackie Robinson and Pee Wee Reese. In 15 World Series games, he batted .302 (16-for-53) w/7 runs, 5 doubles, 1 home run, 6 RBI and 4 walks. Most of the silver finish is off metal back. Back rim curl has some tiny age dots.
