Lot of six. "Detective Story Magazine" is published weekly by Street & Smith Corp. Vol. 103 #2, Aug. 4, 1928; Vol. 104 #1, Sept. 8, 1928; Vol. 105 #3, Nov. 3, 1928. Each issue has usual and typical overlap wear of front and back covers. First two have area of chipping at bottom toward spine and along bottom margin. These chips are about .25x.5" at spine and .25x.75" along bottom margin of second issue. Covers have some lt. dust soiling and handling wear. First issue has .25" chip to spine bottom and .5" area of surface paper lifting. Pages are dark cream and slightly brittle. Fine. "Detective Fiction Weekly" is published weekly and © The Red Star News Co. Vol. 103 #4, July 11, 1936; Vol. 123 #3, Oct. 22, 1938; Vol. 124 #4, Oct. 29, 1938. First issue features cover w/moderate handling wear on overlap of front and back covers. Second and third issues have usual and typical overlap wear on bottom of front and back covers. Top and side has little or no overlap and have very little wear. Pages are cream-colored and slightly brittle. First issue is Fine, second and third issues are VF.
