Item Description
7x9.75" w/114 pages. Vol. 2 #1 published monthly by Popular Publications Inc. in Jan. 1936. Jerome Rozen painted cover features Wu Fang bathing victim w/mysterous ray. Man in bkg. approaches Wu Fang w/club as shocked woman reclines in foreground. Pulp has a moderate warp throughout, spine has a 2.25" split at top, some insect damage along spine and 1/8" chip at bottom. Back cover has some moderate bleed-through onto last page. Typical cover overlap wear including some .25" tears. Back cover has dust soiling and lt. aging, small .25" section of surface paper lifting. Good. Front cover art remains clean and bright and is about Fine. Pages are all complete and cream-colored, some staining on extreme margins. Aside from warp, pages are VF.
