Item Description
These are of unusual British construction consisting of a domed front with illustrated caption of WWII military vehicle or weapon while the reverses are an even more domed piece of tin which the curl of the front piece holds in place. At top center reverse is a spot of solder and a 15/16" vertical stickpin. Some very minor general wear. Captions are: Aircraft Carrier, Anti-Aircraft, Battleship, Bomb Throwing, Cruiser, Merchantman, Spitfire, Tank, Wellington Bomber. Nice gloss. Only examples we've seen in our 56 years. VF. See USA issued button sets of WWII insignia and warplanes by Coca-Cola and Kellogg's Pep cereal lots #1272-1276.
