Item Description
2-1/8" with correct back paper with very slight tanning and text for button maker W&H and the company advertising their Shirts, Collars & Cuffs/Noble goods for "Nobles" wear (a reference to the members of the Shrine temple in Troy, New York). c. 1904. Initiate in mask, socks and nightshirt holds a rope as his hair stands on end in anticipation of the membership ritual. A resting camel behind him is decked out in a fez, a high collar with bowtie and reins and a blanket accented in reflective gold. High gloss and Exc. Rare in this high grade.
