1.25" very graphic button showing Lone Ranger on Silver who is rearing up against a background of clouds, mountains and trees. Surrounding text is "The 'Lone Ranger'/Comic/Daily And Sunday/Examiner." This button was issued in 1938 used as a promotion for the expansion of the strip from just a daily to include a full color Sunday page in the Chicago Herald and Examiner. One of only three examples we've offered of this button in our 56 years. Rare. Glossy and Exc. Promotes an historic event in the life of the Sunday comics.
