Item Description
1.25" and 1.75". AYD stands for American Youth for Democracy, the youth auxiliary of the Communist Party. Larger button dated Dec. 14-16, 1945. Text at top reads "Peace-Security-Equality". Second button features three young people w/text to their left reading "Fighting For Peace AYD". Larger button has light wear, while right has light surface scratches amounting to light wear.
