Item Description
Fifteen items in total, including buttons, photographs, newspapers, letters, a jugate tile, tickets and programs to the Westminster College event. Buttons include the original and classic pin made for the 1946 event, as well as two buttons made in the same vein for Bush and Gorbachev in 1992. Highlights include a ticket from the event, a program from the day, a signed letter from the president of the college inviting a guest, a newspaper w/Truman and Churchill en route to receiving their honorary degrees, and a tile of Truman and Churchill made for the event. Buttons have only minor to light wear and are Exc. Tile has some ink loss on the portrait of Churchill, VF. Ephemera has light to moderate wear and handling, and ranges in condition from Fine to Exc.
