Item Description
Original 24x35.75" WWF promotional poster by Kritz promoting the first ever WrestleMania, which took place on March 31, 1985 at Madison Square Garden in New York City. Poster features striking image of then WWF World Heavyweight Champion Hulk Hogan and Mr. T who teamed up to defeat "Rowdy" Roddy Piper and "Mr. Wonderful" Paul Orndorff in the main event. Poster has been signed in blue felt tip pen by Mr. T, his signature standing out as signed on Mr. T's iconic gold chains. Poster has been rolled and shows obvious handling wear, w/creases and edge/corner tip wear w/staple holes at top/bottom center w/tape repair on back at top staple hole. Staple/pin holes at top center and top/bottom corners. VG overall, but would display nicely if framed. A desirable poster for the inaugural installment of pro wrestling's most successful and longest-running event, let alone one signed by one of the event's biggest stars. Comes with Hake's COA and JSA LOA.
