Item Description
Original lidded cardboard box contains 2.25x4.25x7" tall overall packaging w/thin plastic cover. Ingraham, ©1954 Kagran. Box has two corner splits and some age spotting to lid. VG/Fine overall. Display base has slot that holds die-cut cardboard display figure of Howdy Doody as Sheriff. Base shows very little wear and figure has some lt. edge wear w/faint crease at waist. Plastic cover has shrunk slightly over the years and as such now fits tightly. Cover has yellowed ever so slightly and has two tiny 1/8" corner cracks at top left. Packaging is Exc. overall. Display holds .75x1-3/8" chrome luster metal watch w/original red leather bands (also issued w/blue bands). Character portraits on dial include Howdy, Clarabell, Princess and Dilly-Dally. Crystal has lightly yellowed w/age but watch is o/w unused, old store stock. Case retains full luster, displays NM. Can be wound, but not running as it needs a cleaning. High grade, choice condition example and as nice as these come. Comes w/watch-specific guarantee/instructions folder w/Howdy portrait.
