Item Description
Published quarterly by World's Best Comics Co. (DC Comics) in Summer 1943. This cardboard-covered comic features "Superman, Batman And Robin, Boy Commandos, Green Arrow, Star Spangled Kid, Zatara" among others. Superman story by creators Siegel & Shuster. Boy Commandos story is by Joe Simon and Jack Kirby. Batman and Robin story is by creator Bob Kane. Pages are off-white to cream-colored and one page has a .5x1" chip from bottom right corner but does not affect any images. Cover has some handling wear and creases, pinch creases to spine, .5x.75" tape repair to front cover at bottom right side. Color rub, above Batman and Robin's backs, where lettering was. Pages are VF to Exc. Cover is VG.
