Item Description
7/8" w/ union bug at 6 o'clock. A few tiny perferations in the cello along the collet, likely occurred during production. Otherwise vibrant coloration w/ only light wear. Exc. as made. Palmer was the Attorney General under the Wilson Administration and was famous for his "Palmer Raids" against suspected radicals and anarchists during the Red Scare of 1919-1920. He was placed second on the first round of balloting at the 1920 Democratic National Convention, but ultimately lost the nomination to James M. Cox.
