Item Description
2.75". c. 1905. Silvering  99 %. Curl names W&H. The nude woman likely represents Diana, the Roman goddess of wild animals and the hunt. On this she has just released her arrow and the above text declares "A Sure Hit, Ship To Cox-Jones Com. Co./Denver, So. Omaha." We've offered only two others, both from Baltimore, one realizing about $600 and the other $900. One seen with this imprint. Rare. There is a pinpoint speck trapped under the cello to left of her right nipple making a pinpoint tan dot. All else NM. Almost no surface wear and high gloss.
