Item Description
1.5" w/full color portrait on cream bkg. of buck-toothed young boy, somewhat reminiscent in looks and speech of the Yellow Kid in red/yellow baseball outfit wearing a baseball fielder's glove or catcher's mitt. He says "Say! Look Me Up In De Pittsburg Sunday Dispatch" w/facsimile cursive signature "Yures Trulie Pickle Neary." Below is tiny artist's monogram looking something like a miniature sailboat. Bottom edge is inscribed "Copyright 1903." Front is very clean with just barely visible age tone at 2 o'clock edge, same at 6 o'clock and small but more obvious 1/8" mark at 8 o'clock. Bit more spotting but on reverse by collet not showing in front. Still super glossy and overall VF. Missing back paper. Third seen and first in about 10 years. Rare.
