Item Description
5.75x8". The American Tobacco Company introduced T3 Turkey Red baseball cabinet cards in 1910 and the set consists of 100 baseball subjects. A larger border area is reminiscent of a picture frame with the player identified at the lower edge. The cabinet cards were designed for "preferred" tobacco customers and available as premiums in exchange for coupons from three companies: Turkey Red Cigarettes, Old Mill Cigarettes, or Fez Cigarettes. Jake Stahl was a first baseman and manager in Major League Baseball with the Boston Red Sox, Washington Senators, and New York Highlanders. He was an AL Home Run leader in 1910 and a World Series Champion in 1912.
