Item Description
Both 1.25". The Fort Bragg has paper (c. 1910-20) of S.F. maker B. Pasquale Co. and Willits has Brunt paper used 1910-1919. Both promote this far northwest coastal county with the Fort Bragg button bragging "County of Plenty From Forest To Farm". Apples and pears overflow a tree trunk serving like a salad bowl. Back by collet has barely seen hairline 3/8" split appearing as made. Front is high gloss and NM. Second button features Willits as a heart in the center of Mendocino Co. Couple very faint tone marks on the cream bkg. Glossy and VF. Both our first seen and rare. See next two lots. California Button Collection.
