Item Description
7/8", with W&H back paper used only in 1896, this is a historic first ever camera advertising button and first button to encourage photography. Graphic depiction of hand holding a small camera with surrounding text "You Press The Button/We Do The Rest." While the word "Kodak" does not appear on the button, this was the advertising slogan coined by George Eastman, the founder of Kodak, in 1888. Scarce, especially this super clean and glossy. Exc.
