Item Description
1953 Grape-Nuts offered these in package or via mail- in for the set of 27. In this set, 21 have Grape-Nuts on back. However, in 1955 the exact set was again offered but this time by Post's Sugar Krinkles with blank backs. Six of the 27 we are offering are blank back. Condition varies from 11 in top two rows which have never-bent stems to "Roy Rogers Gun" (center right) which is missing the stem and worn to bottom 4 rows of 15 which have a stem crease at base but overall VF. The Gordon Gold Premium King concept was to bend the stem into the bottom opening of another to create a "string" of Western Medals. Tough set to complete.
