Item Description
Each is 4x7x5.75". Copper pitcher features three images. First is a portrait of Lafayette inside of wreath held by two angels. The second is a still life of fruit. The final scene is of the British surrender at Yorktown on October 19, 1781. Moderate surface wear and handling. Extremely Fine. Stoneware pitcher features Washington on one side w/additional text below reading "His Country's Father", w/Lafayette on the other side and "The Nation's Guest" underneath. Moderate handling wear, most notably on the tip of Lafayette's nose. VF. An impressive pair.
