Item Description
2.25" dia. M. J. Tobias. c. 1850s. Engraved on both sides. One side features two men fighting one another in hand-to-hand combat, while other side features a uniformed soldier holding a flag in his hand. Only light wear on the metal exterior. Watch features a colorful portrait of Scott in his uniform. Tiny chip along the extreme outer edge at 10 o'clock, otherwise some faint hairline cracks in white field from about 9 to 12 o'clock. Overall VF. An attractive and desirable artifact featuring the portrait of the general and 1852 Whig nominee.
