Item Description
6x4x4.25". Illustrated by the Arman's in their text Anglo-American Ceramics on p. 50. Transfers feature "The Enterprise And Boxer" and "The United States And Macedonian" both critical battles illustrating US Naval dominance. Transfers, collar, base, handle and spout are decorated w/pink Sunderland splash luster contrasting beautifully w/the slightly bulbous vessels' apple-green background. A tiny chip near center of United States transfer and typical light luster wear at extreme edges. Restoration to the base of handle, small chips along rim and spout and scattered small cracks. The work is exceptional, blending evenly, making for a superb display example.
