7/8" w/W&H back paper. After the Democratic Party nominated Bryan in 1896 the Populist Party decided to also put him at the head of their ticket as the presidential nominee. However they reserved the vice-presidential slot for one of the leading individuals within their own party, Tom Watson, from Georgia. Faint edge spotting, most notably above the candidates' names along extreme outer edge from 11 to 1 o'clock. VF. An always popular third party jugate from the 1896 campaign.
