Item Description
9.5x13". Two pages. First Philadelphia reissue of the Star Spangled Banner, using same plates as first printing in 1814 in Baltimore. Front features patriotic imagery of American flag in a scene of smoke and explosions. Second page features verses 2-4 of the song. Pages originally attached but no longer remain attached to one another. Moderate handling wear and age toning. Scattered tears along the edges and a few small areas of loss along the edges. VG. Rare and desirable. Early printings of the Star Spangled Banner are seldom offered.
