Scene featuring a pair of young children giving to a beggar w/verse above and below "Flowers That Never Fade./Piety./While God Regards The Wise & Fair./The Noble And The Brave. He Listens/To The Beggar's Prayer. & The Poor Negro Slave." Small chip along the outer rim at 4 o'clock. Otherwise vibrant color w/only light handling wear. VF. Attractive hand painted accents to grass, tree and figures clothing. Verse suggests an anti-slavery sentiment.
