Item Description
3.25x5.5". Features classic portrait of Debs standing in prison uniform in front of jail cell also seen on the pinback button. Debs famously accepted the Socialist Party nomination for the presidency while incarcerated at the Atlanta Federal Penitentiary and subsequently received nearly 1,000,000 popular votes in 1920. Edge wear along the corner, as well as faint staining along the top edge and upper left edge. Otherwise light handling wear. VF. A scarce and desirable postcard from Debs' last run for the presidency.
