Item Description
Each is 5/8" w/original shanks on reverse. DeWitt JCB-1860-49. Lane has area of loss along outer edge of ferrotype from 2 to 6 o'clock, as well as some oxidation. Most of Lane's actual portrait unaffected by loss. Otherwise both have crazing seen in reflected light that is typical. Breckinridge has bold, striking contrast w/razor sharp clarity and watery sheen in reflected light. Lane is VG, Breckinridge is extremely Fine.
