Colorful 1916 jugate, Hake #3002, suspended from an "Erie County Republican Committee 1916" ribbon w/ornate brass hanger "Executive Committee" cello insert. Ribbon has age toning and horizontal fabric pull just below union logo. Fine. The button has only trivial scattered surface wear visible in reflected light and retains the original Ehrman Mfg. Co. back paper. Exc. This design ranks as one of the finest produced during the golden age of cello buttons and it ranks easily among the most coveted Hughes badges.
