Item Description
Lot of four. Each box base measures 5.5x5.5x5.5" tall. Figures on top stand 5.75" to 8" tall. Each appears to be made completely of wood including hinges and tiny dowel pegs in the construction of the boxes. 3.5" wide carved plaque appears on each box front w/character names Nemo, The Imp, Flip, Dr. Pill. Each character is hand-crafted and hand-painted modern folk art w/intricate detail of face, hands, hair, clothes, etc. Great care was taken in painting each. Each box is hinged in the back and has a latch in the front to accommodate a lock. Maker unknown. Bright color, intricate detail, high quality. Exc.
