Item Description
5" tall figure made of unknown blend of resin-like materials. 1946 Fawcett premium by Kerr Company, who also made larger plastic "statuette" figures of Captain Marvel, Captain Marvel, Mary Marvel and Hoppy the Marvel Bunny (all of which are offered in this auction). Figure has incised "Capt. Marvel" name on front of base w/incised Fawcett copyright on back. Missing Kerr decal on underside and figure has had extensive paint touch-ups to majority of figure and base. Legs each have stresslines/cracks on back/sides of legs; 2" and 2-7/8" in length, but figure remains structurally sound and nice for display. While a number of the matching Captain Marvel Jr. and Mary Marvel figures have surfaced over the years, this "Capt.
