Item Description
3.75" long tin litho toy w/built-in key. This toy was produced in a variety of colors, this is mostly gold luster w/blue top. Tank was also produced in silver luster and green w/Army star on top (which was produced in the 1950s). 1940s. Superman figure is in correct colors. Front side of figure has thin hairline across chest and a few scattered paint nicks while back side has a few tiny paint nicks to cape. Rest of tank shows some lt. wear/aging to edges of tank treads and is Fine/VF overall. Works well. Classic early Superman toy. Harry Matetsky Collection.
