Item Description
In Frank Darabont's 1994 prison drama The Shawshank Redemption (itself based on a Stephen King novella), the main character Andy Dufresne (played by Tim Robbins) decorates his cell in Shawshank State Prison w/posters of popular Hollywood actresses, using them to conceal his escape via a slowly dug tunnel to freedom. Offered here is one of the production-made Rita Hayworth back-up posters, printed on glossy stock and measuring 30x44.5". Poster was obtained and preserved by a recycling vendor used for the film production. Poster has been rolled and shows some scattered handling wear. VF/Exc. Iconic image from this popular film.
