Item Description
2" tall in silvered brass with long reverse stickpin. From 1888. With chair seat down, item displays text "Presidential Chair/Who Shall Occupy It". Pressure on tiny tab at bottom causes spring loaded chair seat to fly upwards revealing sepia photographic paper image of Cleveland against brown background. Applied portrait has been replaced, and the pin on reverse has been reattached. Otherwise scattered surface wear and handling on brass w. moderate surface wear and aging on portrait. VF.
