From the estate of Walter Gibson. 8.5x11" w/162 pages published by Harcourt Brace Jovanovich in 1979. Book is signed in black felt tip pen on title page by Walter B. Gibson who has also added his pseudonym Maxwell Grant. Also signed by contributing editor Anthony Tollin who adds "To Walter, With Thanks For Years Of Reading Pleasure With The Shadow And The Great Opportunity To Work With You On This Book." Preface page has also been signed by Chris Steinbrunner, Vice President of The Mystery Writers of America, who wrote preface. He has also signed in black felt tip pen and added "In The Shadows" under his name. "The Complete Story Behind The Mysterious Shadow Of Pulp Magazine And Radio Fame Compiled By His Chief Creator." Book has some edge wear, lt. creasing to spine but is overall Exc. Comes w/Hake's COA.
