Item Description
8.5x11" sheet of Victor Jory stationery has typed letter dated Apr. 22, 1937 and addressed to noted collector Chaw Mank. Letter congratulates Mank on winning contest for at least second time. Signed in ink that has faded to brown. Letter has some handling wear and has been folded for postal issuing. Fine. Also comes w/5x7" vintage sepiatone photo of Jory which is inscribed in black ink "To Chaw, Sincerely, Victor Jory." Creasing at bottom corners, crack to surface paper at left bottom corner. Fine and could be framed to a VF appearance. Mank's 2.5x4" Victor Jory Fan Club membership card also included for 1945-1946. NM. Last item is 8x10" glossy photo of Jory signed in black ink "Best Wishes Victor Jory." NM. Jory is best known for portraying The Shadow in Columbia's 1940 serial. Comes w/Hake's COA.
