Complete set of seven 7.5x8.75" books w/false leather covers. Each has 284 bw pages. Published by William H. Wise & Co., 1930. Books represent a posthumous printing of Briggs' work. Each book contains multiple stories, titles include: "Somebody's Always Taking The Joy Out Of Life; There's At Least One In Every Office; The Days Of Real Sport; It Happens In The Best Regulated Familes; How To Start The Day Wrong; Ain't It A Grand And Glorious Feelin'?; When A Feller Needs A Friend; That Guiltiest Feeling; Oh Man; Old Songs; Real Folks At Work; Wonder What-Thinks About; Movie Of A Man; Handy Man Around The House; Kelly Pool, Tedious Pastimes" and "Golf." Covers have corner tip wear, some surface rubs. Fine overall. All pages remain bright and clean, VF-Exc. One issue is missing cover. Contents are Fine. Briggs cartoons dealt w/everyday life and his best-known works are his strip "A. Piker Clerk; Mr. and Mrs.;" and the books in this set.
