Each is 1-1/8". These proof examples we struck in 1860. Both medals feature profile portraits of Scott. Reverse features scene depicting Scott being wounded at the Battle of Lundy's Lane, one of the key battles of the War of 1812. Each has only minor surface scratches amounting to light wear.
