Item Description
15" tall hollow painted plaster statue. 1940s. Unlike some of these statues that were painted in odd colors, this example has been nicely painted in Superman's correct colors w/facial paint accents. These statues usually feature Superman's "S" symbol painted on, but this example features incised shield symbol. Small paint flake off inside of one thigh. Cape has a few spots of darker aging to paint; largest being 3/8". Statue is free of any cracks or repairs and displays Exc. Among the nicest examples of any Superman carnival statue we've seen in our 57 years.
