5.75x11". Thin paper. Top of ballot features imagery of Lady Liberty holding the Scales of Justice w/ symbols of industry and agriculture in the background. Listed below are the Republican candidates for state office, including Alexander H. Rice for Governor. Benjamin Butler listed below for Congress. The Hayes/Wheeler ticket, as well as Rice and Butler were successful in their campaigns in 1876. Faint scattered spotting, most notably in upper left corner, as well as some edge wear. VF. A large and attractive ballot from the contentious 1876 election.
