Item Description
2” wide by 2.75” long heavy gold plastic w/compartment inside to hold battery which allows bulb in front end to light. This 1951 item was offered only briefly as there were material restrictions applied due to the Korean War.
Idea was to swivel the end cap to make the bulb flash on and off. Item originally came w/card capable of glowing in the dark. This piece is complete w/end cap that was frequently lost, making a complete example even rarer. Each side of main barrel has raised portraits of Straight Arrow along w/his name. Has original brass keychain but missing generic battery, bulb and spring. About our third example, complete w/end cap in 40 years. Note tiny secret club word on end cap “TA-WATO-KO.” Essentially Mint. Rare.
