11.5x14.75x2.5" deep cardboard mailer box (w/shipping label removed; mailing label present) contains trading card set produced by The Danbury Mint and released from 2000 to 2013. This set was a mail order set that sent cards in installments of two cards per month from 2001 to 2011 and three cards per month from 2011 to 2013. The cost was $12.95 per card. The set was initially released in the UK only but became available in the US in 2009. Initially a 48 card set, 12 additional cards were added in Jan. 2011, bringing the total set to 60 cards. Cards are neatly presented in a softcover binder w/metallic foil "Star Trek 22kt Gold Card Collection" name, Starfleet symbol, Danbury Mint logo and copyright text. Included binder sheets house intro sheet and all 60 cards, each sealed in a protective sleeve. These paper-backed gold foil high relief cards feature Star Trek characters from across the many TV/film series then current, including Capt. James T. Kirk (both William Shatner and Chris Pine), Commander Spock (both Leonard Nimoy and Zachary Quinto), Capt. Jean-Luc Picard, Lt. Commander Data, Lt. Worf, Capt. Benjamin Sisko, Quark, Capt. Kathryn Janeway, Seven of Nine, Lt. Tuvok, Capt. Jonathan Archer, Sub-Commander T'Pol, Capt. Christopher Pike (Bruce Greenwood) as well as villains including Khan, Q, Borg Queen, Nero and ships including USS Enterprise NCC-1701, USS Enterprise NCC-1701-D, USS Voyager NCC-74656, Klingon Bird of Prey, Romulan Warbird, Space Station Deep Space Nine and others. Mailer box shows wear and just comes along. Binder is Exc. w/binder pages have rippled a bit. Cards are NM as issued.
