Item Description
7.25x9.5". Distributed by the Jackson Democratic Association. The Breckinridge/Lane ticket were nominated as the Southern Democratic candidates after a faction of the Democratic Party broke off in Baltimore due to Stephen Douglas's moderate position on the extension of slavery into western territories. Pamphlet makes the argument that the Souther Democratic ticket is the true ticket of Unionism. Moderate even aging, w/ scattered light staining and some edge wear, most notably along the right edge. Fine.
